Columbus, OH (NNCNOW.com) --- International Falls, Minn. native and former University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) goaltender Brady Hjelle has been named the Central Collegiate Hockey Associaition (CCHA) goaltender of the week, it was announced Monday. Hjelle stopped 31 shots for Ohio State in a 4-1 win over Lake Superior State on Friday night, and then he came on in relief duty on Saturday to make 18 saves in a 3-2 loss to the Nanooks. The former Broncos standout finished the weekend with a 1.14 goals against average and a .961 saves percentage. While at UMD from 2008-10, Hjelle played in just two games and posted a (1-0-0) overall record.
