Indians Win Sixth Straight, Cruise by Twins

Cleveland, OH (NNCNOW.com) --- Aaron Hicks hit his first career homer in the majors, but Scott Kazmir got his first win in the three seasons for Cleveland as the Indians beat the Twins 7-3 Saturday afternoon for their sixth straight win.

Hicks hit a solo shot to lead off the fifth for Minnesota while Pedro Florimon and Ryan Doumit each knocked in a run for the Twins.

Kevin Correia pitched just five innings and gave up four earned runs. Anthony Swarzak went two innings in relief for the Twins, giving up two runs.

Minnesota (12-14) and Cleveland (14-13) will meet on Sunday for the series finale at 12:05 p.m.
