Israel, Hodapp Lead 'Hounds to Crosstown Win

Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Seniors Luke Israel and Ben Hodapp scored goals in the first half on Tuesday night, helping to lead the Duluth East boys' soccer team to a 2-0 win over crosstown rival Duluth Denfeld.

Israel struck first with a shot from about 20 yards out midway through the first half, with Hodapp adding his about 10 minutes later for the Greyhounds.

Senior Daniel Spooner earned the shutout in goal for Duluth East, which improves to (2-1) with the win. Duluth Denfeld, meanwhile, drops to (0-2) this season with the loss.
