Ashland, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- Seamus Gregory has been named the new head men's hockey coach at Northland College, it was announced by that school's athletic department on Wednesday afternoon.
"Seamus is a proven winner and recruiter," co-athletics director Steve Wammer said, "and he inspires confidence about the future of Northland hockey."
Gregory comes to the Lumberjacks after a three-year head coaching stint at Williston State, where he won the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) championship in both 2013 and 2014.
"This is a distinct privilege to be named the next head coach of the Northland College Lumberjacks by the search committee and by President Michael Miller," Gregory said. "My family and I are very much looking forward to moving to Ashland."
Gregory will start his duties at Northland College in July.
