Jennings Says Packers "Brainwashed" Him

Mankato, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Greg Jennings has taken another verbal shot at his former team, this time saying the Green Bay Packers "brainwash" players into thinking the franchise is the best in the NFC North.

"Being over in Green Bay," Jennings said, "you're brainwashed to think anyone in the division is tiers below."

The comments came Wednesday morning during a nearly 15-minute interview with KFAN radio, with Jennings saying his coming to Minnesota is what made him realize what Green Bay does.

"It's like everything that you know in Green Bay is like the best, the best, the best, the best, the best," Jennings told KFAN. "And it's like total brainwashing. And I think you don't open your eyes to see what other teams have to offer unless you are in that position, and I was afforded this position."

Jennings signed a five-year, $47.5 million contract with the Vikings this past offseason, that after spending his first seven NFL seasons in Green Bay.

The 29-year-old has played in 96 games during his career, all with the Packers, totaling 6,537 receiving yards and 53 touchdowns over that span.
