Koivu, Suter Play Hero in Wild's OT Win

St. Paul, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Mikko Koivu scored 2:43 into overtime on Wednesday night to give the Minnesota Wild a 4-3 win over Phoenix, marking the team's seventh straight victory.

Ryan Suter had tied the game for Minnesota with just 55 seconds in regulation, that after the Wild squandered a 2-0 lead midway through the second period.

Virginia, Minn. native Matt Cullen and Torrey Mitchell were the other goal scorers in the winning effort, with Nicklas Backstrom making 24 saves in goal.

Minnesota is now (20-10-2) overall this 2013 season.
