Kontny Hits 1,000, Superior Clinches LSC Title

Ashland, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- Superior senior guard Hailey Kontny scored surpassed 1,000 career points and the Spartans girls' basketball team clinched the 2012-13 Lake Superior Conference (LSC) championship with a 69-29 win over Ashland.

The #5-ranked Superior squad improves to (17-1) overall this season and (8-0) within the LSC with the winning effort.
