Kuhlman Scores Twice in Team USA Win

Yarmouth, Nova Scotia (NNCNOW.com) --- Esko, Minn. native and University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) recruit Karson Kuhlman scored two goals on Wednesday night for the United States in a 4-2 win over Canada East in the World Junior A Challenge.

Kuhlman scored the first goal of the game in the first period and added another in the second period, bringing his two-game total to three for the Americans.

Hermantown, Minn. native and fellow UMD recruit Neal Pionk is also playing on Team USA in the 10-day overseas tournament.

The United States is (2-0-0) in the preliminary round and earns an automatic pass to the semifinal round, which will be played on Nov. 8.
