Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Lakeview Chrisitan Academy senior guard Anders Broman called his decision to play Division I college basketball at South Dakota State University (SDSU) a dream come true on Monday afternoon.

"I love their coaches. They have great coaches," Broman said of the Jackrabbits' program. "Their program is getting better every year. They made the NCAA tournament last year, so that's what I want to do in my career."

Broman had 20 other Division I offers and took official visits to Yale and Vermont, but he said SDSU felt like home when he was there this past weekend on an official visit.

"South Dakota State fit me the best," Broman said. "Yale and Vermont are great schools, and I love those coaches as well, but I just felt that this school fit me a little better. I went to their exercise science program and saw all the equipment and stuff. It was pretty awesome."

Broman own several scoring records across the region and state, including last year setting a new Minnesota single-season scoring mark.

His junior season also saw Broman become the fastest player in state history to eclipse 3,000 career points, and his 3,834 career points are second only to the 4,086 of Kevin Noreen.
