Brainerd, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Wright native Jason Line is the number one qualifier for Sunday's NHRA Pro Stock Nationals race at Brainerd International Speedway (BIR), with his teammate right behind him.

Line ran the quarter-mile in 6.581 seconds and reached a top speed of 209.26 miles per hour, good enough to earn the number one slot heading into Sunday's knockout round.

His teammate, Duluth native Greg Anderson, qualified second by running the quarter-mile in 6.591 seconds and reaching a top speed of 209.59 miles per hour.

Line is currently first in the NHRA Pro Stock points standings, with Anderson second, as the drag race season gets closer and closer to ending.

Anderson has two wins at BIR to Line's zero, including a win over Line in the 2009 finals.
