Superior, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- UW-Superior's sophomore guard Sally Linzmeier scored 19 points in the second half on Friday night to lead the Yellowjackets to a 85-75 win over Twins Ports rival St. Scholastica.
Linzmeier finished with a game-high 30 points for UW-Superior, leading a group of four Yellowjackets to score in double digits.
Connie Urmanski and Alyssa Lindberg each scored 13 points in the winning effort, and Kristen Nett added 10 for UW-Superior.
St. Scholastica was led by Caitlin McKernon with 15 points, with the Saints putting five players in double digits in the loss.
UW-Superior improves to (7-2) with the win while St. Scholastica drops to (3-6) after the loss.
