Lucroy Plays Hero, Brewers Win in Extras

Milwaukee, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- Jonathan Lucroy hit a sacrifice fly to center field in the bottom of the 10th inning on Monday, sending Rickie Weeks across the plate and the Milwaukee Brewers to a 5-4 win over Colorado on Opening Day 2013.

Aramis Ramirez went 2-for-4 and drove in two runs for the Brewers, and Norichika Aoki hit a home run in the third inning as part of the winning effort.

Yovani Gallardo went five innings as the starter, allowing three earned runs on 10 hits and recording three strikeouts. Jim Henderson earned the win on the hill, pitching a hitless 10th inning and notching a strikeout.

Milwaukee is now (1-0) this 2013 season and will next be in action at 7:10 p.m. on April 2 against Colorado.
