Michaud Leads #16 C-E-C to Opening Win

Cloquet, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Westin Michaud scored all three goals on Tuesday night as the #16-ranked Cloquet-Esko-Carlton boys' hockey team beat Virginia-Mountain Iron-Buhl 3-0 to open the 2012-13 season.

Michaud scored in the final minute of the first period and then added two in the final two minutes of the third period, one of those being an empty-netter.

The Lumberjacks improve to (1-0) this season with the win, while the Blue Devils fall to (0-1) after the loss.
