Minneapolis, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kevin Love will have hand surgery on Tuesday in New York, the team announced on Monday afternoon. Love needs the surgery to repair the third and fourth metacarpal in his right hand, which he originally injured during the offseason and re-injured Jan. 3 in a game against Denver. The procedure will be performed by Dr. Michelle Carson at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, and it will keep Love out of action for 8-10 weeks. The two-time All-Star has played in 18 games this 2012-13 season for Minnesota, averaging 18.3 points and 14.0 rebounds per game. Posted by Zach Schneider Bio - Facebook - Twitter - E-Mail
