New York, NY (NNCNOW.com) --- The NHL board of governors voted unanimously on Wednesday to ratify the new collective bargaining agreement between the league and the NHL Players' Association, inching us closer to an NHL season. The other half of the ratification process will be the vote of the 700-plus NHL players, which is expected to come sometime Friday or Saturday. Training camps are then anticipated to open on Sunday, with the first games of the 48-game, lockout-shortened season coming on Jan. 19. Posted by Zach Schneider Bio - Facebook - Twitter - E-Mail
