New York, NY (NNCNOW.com) --- The National Hockey League (NHL) has announced the cancellation of all regular season games through December 14 and the cancellation of the 2013 All-Star weekend, which was set for January 26-27. The cancellations comes because of the ongoing labor dispute between the league and the NHL Players' Association, with the two sides still unable to reach agreement on a new collective bargaining agreement. The news means a total of 422 regular season games have been axed because of the labor dispute, constituting 34.3 percent of the scheduled NHL season.
