New York, NY (NNCNOW.com) --- The National Hockey League (NHL) has canceled regular season games in the 2012-13 season through Jan. 14, it was announced on Thursday afternoon.
The cancellations come because a collective bargaining agreement has yet to be reached between the league and the NHL Players' Association.
There have now been a total of 625 regular season games canceled as a result of the lockout, making up 50.8 percent of the 2012-13 year.
