Grand Forks, ND (NNCNOW.com) --- Mark MacMillan scored two goals, including the game-winner, on Saturday night as the North Dakota men's hockey team beat the University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) 4-3 in overtime at Ralph Engelstad Arena. MacMillan's first goal came in the third period for North Dakota to tie the game at 3-3, and then he scored with 34 seconds left in the overtime to account for the 4-3 win. UMD held a 3-1 lead after the first period, getting goals from Jake Hendrickson, Mike Seidel, and Tony Camaranesi in that opening frame. Duluth, Minn. native Derek Forbort scored the second goal for North Dakota, marking his third tally of the year from the blue line for that team. Matt McNeely was the goaltender for the Bulldogs on Saturday night, allowing all four goals while making 26 saves in the losing effort.
