North Woods' Youngstrom Sets NE MN Record

Eveleth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- North Woods' Darby Youngstrom scored 27 points on Wednesday night in her team's win over Eveleth-Gilbert to become Northeast Minnesota's all-time leading girls' scorer after passing Charlotte Oberbye.

Oberbye of Mountain Iron-Buhl set the mark of 2,658 in 2011 before Youngstrom broke her record. The senior guard now has 2,667 points with four games to go in the regular season.
