(NNCNOW.com) --- The Duluth Northern Stars girls' hockey team used three first period goals en route to beating Cloquet-Esko-Carlton while the No. 20 Duluth Denfeld boys' team shutout Greenway-Nashwauk-Keewatin 9-0 on Saturday. The Northern Stars scored three times in the first period and then added two more to beat the Lumberjacks 5-0.
