Ashland, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- Northland College has named Ernie May the school's new head baseball coach in replacement of Stein Rear, it was officially announced on Monday afternoon. May comes the Lumberjacks program with 20 years coaching experience in the NCAA, at each of the Division I, II, and III levels. Most recently, he was an assistant coach at Trinity College in Hartford, Conn. "The team will compete to be the best they can every day, in practice first, then on competition days," May said of the Lumberjacks. "The team must be committed to excellence both on and off the field, not only in athletics, but in life as well." May's official start date at the college is set for Sept. 1.
