La Crosse, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- Northwestern senior Tess Nelson won her third consecutive state title on Saturday afternoon in the 300 meter hurdles at the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) Division II track and field championship.

Nelson finished with a time of 46.20 seconds, beating runner-up Addy Baker by just four-tenths.

Nelson was originally disqualified in the sub-sectionals before she challenged the ruling and was reinstated.

The Tigers senior has committed to run at Division I University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee next year.
