Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Trey Opack scored on a breakaway late in the third period on Thursday night to give the #18-ranked Duluth Denfeld boys' hockey team a 5-4 win over #2-ranked Hermantown at the Heritage Sports Center.
The loss is the first of the season for the Hawks, a team that had only lost just one game dating back to the beginning of the 2011-12 season.
Duluth Denfeld improves to (6-3-0) this year with the winning effort, and Hermantown falls to (5-1-0) after the loss.
