Oredockers Blanked in WIAA State Semifinals

Milwaukee, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- The Ashland girls' soccer team fell victim to an undefeated team on Friday afternoon, with Catholic Memorial earning its 23rd win of the year with a 7-0 result over the Oredockers in the WIAA Division 2 semifinals at Uihlein Park in Milwaukee, Wis.

The Crusaders scored in the eighth minute of the game and never looked back, scoring four goals in the game's first half and three in the second.

Nicole Piette and Erin Chiapetta each scored two goals in the game for Catholic Memorial, while Mollie Richardson finished with nine saves for the Oredockers.

Ashland ends the season with an overall record of (14-4-3), while Catholic Memorial is now (23-0-1) and will take on Mount Horeb in the state championship on Saturday.
