Minneapolis, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- David Ortiz hit two home runs and finished with six RBIs as the Boston Red Sox cruised by the Minnesota Twins 12-5 on Saturday in the second-longest game in Target Field history. Ortiz reminded Twins fans everywhere what a mistake it was to let him go over ten years ago. Dustin Pedroia had two hits, two walks, and an RBI to extend his hitting streak to 10 games. Scott Diamond lasted just 4 1/3 innings for the Twins, giving up six runs on eight hits while walking three. Pedro Florimon had two RBIs, and Joe Mauer continued his hot streak with two hits. The Twins (18-21) and Red Sox (26-17) meet on Sunday at 1:10 p.m. in the series finale. Posted by Sarah Wheeler swheeler@kbjr.com
