Minneapolis, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Adrian Peterson finished with 154 rushing yards and two touchdowns on Sunday afternoon as the Minnesota Vikings beat Chicago 21-14 at Mall of America Field. The Vikings' running back becomes the first NFL player to rush for 100-plus yards in seven straight games since Chris Johnson had 12 such performances from 2009-10. Both Peterson's touchdowns came in the first quarter, with a third quarter 56-yard interception return from Harrison Smith accounting for Minnesota's other score in the winning effort. Minnesota is now (7-6) overall this season and (6-1) at Mall of America Field. The team's next game is scheduled for Dec. 16 on the road against St. Louis.
