Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Mitch Korn has coached at the professional level for over 20 years now, but the last 13 summers the Nashville Predators goaltender coach has spent a week teaching goalies and defensemen from around the area.

The four-day camp started on Saturday at the Heritage Sports Center in Duluth. With over 80 kids taking part, kids combine on and off ice sessions each day.

Korn says as much as he loves working with the pros, it's with kids where he can really make an impact.

"I like the kids way better," Korn said. "With all due respect to the pros, and I get along great with them, this is pure. The amount of impact you can have in one afternoon with a 12-year-old far supersedes what I could have with a world class goalie."

Korn's camp runs through Tuesday.
