Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Former UMD placekicker David Nadeau has been invited to a minicamp tryout of the Green Bay Packers, that according to his representatives at CRM Sports Management.
Nadeau, a White Bear Lake native, was named three times to the all-Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference first team and owns 15 placekicking records at UMD.
He won two NCAA Division II national championships with the Bulldogs, including the 2010 title in which he kicked the game-winning field goal as time expired.
Nadeau's tryout with the Packers will happen May 11-13 during the team's rookie orientation camp.
