Saints Beat Yellowjackets in Five Games

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The St. Scholastica volleyball team were up against the wall 2-1 versus the University of Wisconsin-Superior (UWS) but went on to win the final two games to beat the Yellowjackets in five games on Wednesday night.

Kortney Morrin led the Saints with 21 kills while Kariana DeYoung added 13 and Noelle Elvehjem had ten.

For the Yellowjackets, Kitty Tynen was the leader in kills with 24 while Alissa Autio had 14 and Brooke Vonasek racked up 12.

The Saints (12-14) will resume action on Friday against Bethany Lutheran while the Yellowjackets (16-13) will play in the Gustavus Triangular on Saturday.
