Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- St. Scholastica sophomore Trevor Morlock and freshman Josh Simmons have been named Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) athletes of the week in their respective sports, it was announced on Tuesday.

Morlock earns the honor in men's basketball after averaging 28.0 points and 9.0 rebounds per game in two Saints victories, with the 56 total points in back-to-back games marking the most by a St. Scholastica player since 2010.

Simmons' award comes in men's indoor track and field after he won the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.06 seconds, just 0.02 seconds off the program record. He also finished as runner-up in the 200-meter dash, with his time of 23.37 seconds putting him on the program's top five list.
