Morris, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The St. Scholastica softball team was beaten twice on Friday afternoon and have been eliminated from the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) postseason tournament. The Saints first fell 5-4 to Bethany Lutheran and then 6-2 to Minnesota-Morris, ending the team's season with an overall record of (21-14). St. Scholastica won the 2013 UMAC regular season championship and was the top overall seed in the tournament, which the team had won each year since 2008. Duluth, Minn. native Nikki Logergren was an offensive leader for the Saints in the first game, hitting 2-for-3 with a run batted in. Ashland, Wis. native Tiff Hudack added two hits and a run batted in for St. Scholastica in the losing effort. Those two again led the Saints in the second game, with Logergren finishing 3-for-4 at the plate and Hudack again finishing with two hits and a run batted in.
