Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The Saints men's and women's soccer teams scored early and often en route to blowing out Northland College 10-0 and 5-0 respectively in a doubleheader on Saturday afternoon at Saints field in a UMAC contest. The women's team got things started off less than two minutes into the game thanks to a goal from Duluth, Minn. native Kelsey Kehtel, her team-leading 12th of the season. Casey Mitchell also scored for the Saints while another Duluth native, Leah Hamm, recorded her first career hat trick. The Saints improve to (9-2-1) on the season and will play Northwestern on Friday at 1 p.m. In the second game of the doubleheader, the St. Scholastica men's' team scored 45 seconds into the match thanks to a goal from Andrew Jenkins. He'd score the first five goals for the Saints. St. Scholastica (9-2-2) travels to Northwestern on Friday to take on the Eagles at 3:15 p.m. in another conference match-up.
