Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The St. Scholastica women's basketball team will play Cornell (Iowa) in the first round of the NCAA Division III tournament, it was officially announced on Monday afternoon. The Saints are (13-14) this season and earned an automatic qualifier to the NCAA tournament by winning the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) postseason tournament, that via a 76-67 win over Martin Luther this past Saturday. Cornell, meanwhile, is (24-1) this season and also earned an automatic qualifier by winning the postseason championship in the Midwest Conference.
