Carlton, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Boxers Al Sands and Gary Eyer have each learned their opponent for the upcoming "Patriotic Punchout" event at Black Bear Casino, with the official card released by Jungle Boy Boxing Gym on Tuesday afternoon. Sands, who won the Minnesota cruiserweight title this past April, will fight up a class and take on West Virginia heavyweight champion Justin Howes. That fight will be a non-title bout for the "Haitian Temptation," who owns a (9-1-0) record in his professional career with nine knockouts. Eyer, meanwhile, will put his North American Boxing Union (NABU) lightweight title on the line against Robbie Cannon. Eyer won that belt this past April and boasts an overall record of (11-2-1) with seven knockouts in his pro career.
