New Ulm, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Danica Schellbach and Erin Frase combined to score 44 points on Saturday as the St. Scholastica women's basketball team earned a 76-67 win over Martin Luther to capture the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) championship. Schellbach finished with a game-high 24 points and Frase had 20, with Mariah Hovick also adding 13 in the winning effort for the Saints. The UMAC title is the second in program history for the Saints, with the team also earning the conference's automatic qualifier to the NCAA Division III tournament. The selection show for the national tournament is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Feb. 25, with St. Scholastica's bid to be the team's first-ever to the NCAAs.
