Scholastica's Hecker, Ahmed Qualify for NCAAs

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- St. Scholastica skiers Jeremy Hecker and Sharmila Ahmed will both compete at the 2013 NCAA skiing championships, it was announced on Monday.

Hecker will become the first Saints skier to compete at multiple NCAA championship events, while Ahmed will become the first-ever female skier to compete at the NCAA championship level.

The NCAA skiing championships consist of schools from all Divisions and combine apline events with nordic events. This year's NCAA championships are set to be hosted March 6-9 at Middlebury College.
