Sederlund, Virginia Win 7AA Golf Title

Biwabik, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Virginia senior Andy Sederlund fired a two-day total of 145 to win the Section 7AA individual boys' golf championship at Giant's Ridge, and he also helped the Blue Devils to the team title at the sectional meet.

Virginia fired a two-day total of 617 in the team competition, eight strokes better than runner-up International Falls' total of 625.

On the girls' side of the things, International Falls senior Katie West was the top area finisher with a fifth place total of 166 at the two-day event.

Hibbing was the top Northland team, with the Bluejackets firing a 721 to finish behind Pequot Lakes, which won the team championship with a score of 604.
