Superior, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- Spencer Severson hit a solo home run in his first official at-bat of the 2013 season, getting the Superior baseball team off to the right foot in what turned out to be a 10-1 win over Duluth Marshall in both team's season opener.

Jordan Hughes and Nik Mattson each finished with three runs batted in for the Spartans, with Cole Bradshaw accounting for Duluth Marshall's only scoring play.
