Grand Rapids, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The Grand Rapids boys' basketball will be one of three unseeded teams in the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) Class AAA tournament, it was announced on Saturday morning. The Thunderhawks beat Cloquet on Friday night to win the program's sixth straight Section 7AAA championship, with the team's best finish at state in that span being second in 2010. Grand Rapids will play #3-seeded Marshall in the Class AAA quarterfinals, with that game scheduled for 4:00 p.m. on March 20 at Williams Arena in Minneapolis.
