Minneapolis, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The Minnesota Timberwolves have re-signed forward Chase Budinger, the team officially announced on Friday morning. The 25-year-old Budinger played in just 23 games for the Timberwolves last season, averaging 9.4 points and 3.1 rebounds per game before undergoing surgery to repair a lateral meniscus tear in his left knee. "We made bringing back Chase a priority because of his shooting ability, athleticism and his familiarity with Coach [Rick] Adelman's system," said Flip Saunders, Minnesota's president of basketball operations. "We look forward to watching his continued development in a Wolves uniform." Posted by Zach Schneider Bio - Facebook - Twitter - E-Mail
