Timberwolves Win Second Straight, Beat Visting Spurs

Minneapolis, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The Minnesota Timberwolves won on Sunday for the first time in 294 days. On Monday, they won for the second time in as many days.

Kevin Love led Minnesota with 24 points and 15 rebounds as the Timberwolves topped San Antonio 106-96 at home.

Luke Ridnour added 19 points and nine assists for Minnesota, and Wes Johnson broke out of an early-season shooting slump with 14 points in the winning effort.

The Timberwolves improve to (2-3) this season with the win and are now off until Wednesday when they host the Memphis Grizzlies.
