Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) Incoming University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) freshman Dom Toninato left Friday morning for Lake Placid and the USA National Junior Evaluation Camp, which opens up on Saturday. The 19-year-old is among 44 invitees that will battle for a spot on the US National Junior Team. Those selected will then compete in the 2014 International Ice Hockey (IIFH) World Junior Championship on Dec. 26- Jan. 5, 2014 in Ufa, Russia. The Duluth East grad spent last season with the USHL's Fargo Force and tallied 70 points on 29 goals and 41 assists while playing in all 64 regular season games.
