Twins Can't Capitalize on Errors, Indians Win

Cleveland, OH (NNCNOW.com) --- The Cleveland Indians committed four errors on Sunday afternoon but found a way to sneak by the Minnesota Twins 3-1 thanks to a Drew Stubbs home run and a strong outing from Scott Kazmir at Progressive Field.

Jason Kipnis and Nick Swisher each added an RBI for Cleveland. Doug Bernier had the lone run for Minnesota on a sacrifice bunt.

Kazmir pitched six innings, giving up just one run while striking out eight. Twins hurler Mike Pelfrey lasted five innings, giving up a run on just two hits.

Minnesota (57-72) returns home on Monday to host Kansas City at 7:10 p.m.
