Minneapolis, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The Minnesots Twins have signed right-handed pitcher Kevin Correia to a two-year, $10 million deal, the team announced on Thursday morning.
Correia posted last season a 4.21 earned run average with Pittsburgh, throwing 171 innings with 89 strikeouts and 46 walks.
The 32-year-old starter has played in the majors since 2003, holding down jobs with San Francisco, San Diego, and Pittsburgh before coming to Minnesota.
An All-Star in the 2011 season, Correia has a career 4.54 earned run average with 712 strikeouts and 381 walks across 1,066 total innings pitched.
