Baltimore, MD (NNCNOW.com) --- The Minnesota Twins took a one run lead into the eighth inning but saw that disappear when Chris Davis hit a grand slam for Baltimore, giving his team a 9-5 win in their home opener.

Brian Dozier had a triple for the Twins in the top of the fourth to score Justin Morneau and Chris Parmelee, which put Minnesota up 4-1. Dozier had three RBI in the game for just the second time in his career. Chris Parmelee also knocked in a run for Minnesota.

With the loss, the Twins fall to (2-2) on the season. Minnesota will face Baltimore on April 6 at 6:05 p.m.
