UMD Stays #5, Match with #2 Golden Bears Looms

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- After posting two victories this past week, the University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) volleyball team stayed put at #5 in this week's American Volleyball Coaches' Association (AVCA) poll, which was released on Monday.

The Bulldogs hold an overall record of (25-2) this season and next be in action November 6 on the road against #2-ranked Concordia-St. Paul.

UMD beat the Golden Bears 3-1 earlier this season at Romano Gymnasium in Duluth, Minn., and those two teams are currently tied for second in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC).
