Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Alyssa Kerkhoff scored a game-high 21 points as the University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) women's basketball team beat UW-Superior 77-65 on Tuesday night at Romano Gymnasium. Two other Bulldogs scored in double digits to contibute to the win, those players being Katrina Newman (14 points) and Taylor Meyer (12 points). UW-Superior, meanwhile, was led by the 18 points of both Deandra Vavra and Sally Linzmeier in the losing effort.
