UMD's Harper Receives CoSIDA Academic Honor

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- University of Minnesota-Duluth senior Cameron Harper has been named to the 26-member academic all-District 3 Division II team, it was announced on Thursday.

The honor is voted on by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), with District 3 including teams from the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC), the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association, the Great American Conference, and the Great Northwest Athletic Conference.

Harper, who plays safety for the Bulldogs football team, is an accounting major holding a 3.53 cumulative grade point average druing his time at UMD.

He has twice been named to the all-NSIC North squad, and he's played a part in three conference championships and the 2010 NCAA Division II title with UMD.
