Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) women's hockey coach Shannon Miller says she enjoys her team's annual road trip to face North Dakota because of the challenges it presents her and her players. "I love going to North Dakota to play because you've got to be mentally tough, and you've got to play with courage," Miller said. "These are good lessons for these young women to learn. They've got to be warriors." UMD is (2-0-0) this season and ranked #9 in the latest U.S. College Hockey Online poll. North Dakota is #6 in that poll, with this weekend's game set for 2:07 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Posted by Zach Schneider Bio - Facebook - Twitter - E-Mail
