UMD's Olson Named a Daktronics All-American

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) senior offensive lineman Tom Olson has been named to the Daktronics Division II All-American second team, it was announced on Thursday morning.

Olson played in every game this year to run his consecutive starts streak to a program-record 54 games, helping helping UMD become the second-highest scoring offense in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) and the ninth-best rushing offense in all of NCAA Division II.

The Coon Rapids, Minn. native was also named this year to the Daktronics all-Super Region 3 first team and the all-Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) North Division first team.
